Scholarships Deadline Description: Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR) at the University of Florida is seeking Postdoctoral Associate in the field of bioinformatics and machine learning. Tasks The main task is to develop and apply machine learning and computational mathematics to overcome the challenges of analyzing tens of millions of sequences generated by next-generation pyrosequencing technology for biological applications and a variety of ecology.

-A Ph. D. degree in the field of bioinformatics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field;
-Strong background in statistical machine learning, and mathematics;
-Excellent communication skills;
-Ability to effectively work individually and as part of a team;

-Experience with managing large-scale data sets.
